On behalf of ScanJour Ciklum (www.ciklum.net) is looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)
About ScanJour:
We develop standard software and provide solutions for electronic case and document management (ECM) and have many large customers, both in the public and private sector.
You will be a part our Research & Development Department
The Research & Development Department has 60+ employees in two locations. One is in Denmark with 45 employees, and the other is in Kiev (Ukraine). We have very close collaboration with the software testers and developers in Kiev, a good working atmosphere and a high team spirit.
The Job
The position of SDET is exciting and varied. You will join a very committed Software Testing Team in the Research & Development Department. Our development process is modern and agile. We work project oriented, using SCRUM as a development model in a very agile world. As a common tool we use in particular Microsoft Team System.
The Research & Development Department is responsible for standard product, service packs and hotfixes. Our goal is to deliver high quality software to our 160 customers and 75.000 users.
Primary responsibility includes:
• Contribute to the design and implementation of the test infrastructure and tools
Other responsibilities include:
• Work with development and program management counterparts in defining and designing new features
• Design and build feature test automation for all features
• Find bugs and drive them to resolution
• Identify important customer scenarios and drive quality
• Produce test results reports that inform product decisions
Required qualifications include:
• 3+ years of experience with software design and development in C#/.NET programming
• 2+ years of experience with test planning, design and development for shipped products or large solutions
• A Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent industry experience
The successful candidate will also have:
• Excellent design, coding, testing, problem solving and debugging skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to produce results independently and in team collaboration settings
Additionally, the following skills or experience would be very helpful in this position:
• Familiarity with databases (Oracle and/or SQL Server)
• Experience with performance and security testing
• Experience in records or enterprise content management
