Large foreign company is looking for Finance Manager
Responsibilities:
Accounting & Tax, Payroll
• Supervising the activity of the outsourced accounting/payroll service provider.
• Ensuring that all documents necessary for the accounting and tax reporting processes are delivered in time, both by the company and by business partners
• Raising accounting treatment and tax issues with the Group Accounting Director. Be involved in discussing such issues with lawyers, tax advisors, accounting service provider
• Supporting the period end closing activity of the company.
• Supporting the yearly audit of the company.
• Reviewing the tax returns of the company
• Keeping touch with the relevant authorities
• Supporting the revenue processes in the area of invoicing, refunds processing, credit control
Treasury
• Implementing and monitoring the Group treasury policies locally.
• Monitoring that the Company Terms of Reference is properly followed.
• Approving payments under own authorization limit.
• Pre-approving payments and arranging authorization for payment transactions exceeding own authorization limit.
• Liaising with banks, negotiating bank facilities and terms.
• Providing the required documentary support to the company’s bank for incoming and outgoing payments
• Working with the relevant authority to receive ‘certificate of price expertise’ for foreign transfers above ?100,000
• Tracking the liquidity of the company to arrange financing in case of need.
The Finance Manager consults on regular basis with the Group Head of Accounting & Taxes and the Group Head of Treasury, and reports dotted line to the Group Chief Financial Officer.
Requirements:
• Fluent English and Ukrainian;
• Master’s Degree (or relevant) in finance related area;
• Thorough understanding of corporate finance concepts (accounting, tax, treasury, controlling);
• Work experience in Chief Accountant or Finance Manager position;
• Experience with ERP systems;
• Experience in Ukrainian taxation is an advantage;
• Professional accounting qualifications (ACA, CIMA) are desirable, but not essential;
• Fluency in using MS Office.
